ULTIMUTT CHAMPIONS

LARGE DOG CHAMPIONS

Lara Richards & Otto the GSP

Finishing Time: 32:28

Dog’s Favorite Product: Bikejoring S/line Antennas & Manmat leads and Canicross Nonstop Harness
Favorite Activity: Trail Running
Favorite UltiMutt obstacle: Waterslide
What makes your bond with your dog special?
When l come home I am greeted with 2 paws raised high and the biggest hug a pup can give. Otto will stare into my eyes and I swear, he stares right into my soul.
I got Otto after losing a dog that had been part of the family for 17 years, my whole adult life.
I knew with my new pup I wanted to give him the best life possible, so I explored the world of dog sports. At 10 weeks old I had Otto enrolled in agility classes, where we developed a connection/communication I didn’t know you could have with a dog. And from there he has not ceased to amaze me! He has excelled in dock diving, canicross, obstacle runs, & free with me on trails up to 25 miles.
He is a small hunting line GSP but has beat dogs purposely breed for racing twice his size in bikejoring races! I am not the best trainer and still feel new to dog sports. I worry that others won’t see how truly amazing Otto is! He deserves to be the champion in everything he does!

Andrew Rollins & Aspen the Golden Retriever

Finishing Time: 28:03

Dog’s Favorite Product: Himalayan Dog Chews
Favorite Activity:  Backpacking!
Favorite UltiMutt obstacle: Hay Hurdles
What makes your bond with your dog special & strong?
“Aspen is my first dog. From the get go, he’s come along for pretty much everything (moving to new places, long road trips, hiking, biking, kayaking, even snowboarding!). I go out of my way to include him whenever possible and he’s happy to be right there with me.”

SMALL DOG CHAMPIONS

Emily Green & Koa the Collie/Husky Mix

Finishing Time: 38:02

Dog’s Favorite Product: her talking cow dog toy by Multipet Look Who’s Talking
Favorite Activity: Kayaking
Favorite UltiMutt obstacle: Teeter Totter

What makes your bond with your dog special & strong?
“Koa and I share a unique connection that goes beyond the typical human-canine connection. Her diverse facial expressions reveal a depth of emotion that tell a story all its own – whether it’s the excitement in her eyes, the subtle signs of anxiety, the sadness in her gaze, or even those moments of embarrassment. There’s something special about being able to understand each other without words. Koa isn’t just a dog; she’s a best friend whose expressive nature creates a bond that transcends clichés and speaks to the genuine connection we share.”
